The coronavirus or Covid-19 outbreak has shifted our lives, probably for the long haul and there is so much uncertainty surrounding our jobs, our food and our ability live our lives normally again. Nevertheless, we know the precautions we must take in order to protect ourselves as much as possible from contracting the virus and practicing proper hygiene is one of the key actions. The problem however, is with all the mass panic our access to ready-made hand sanitizers are practically non-existent. Hand sanitizers have become a scare scarce commodity, but as my mother always says, desperate times call for desperate measures and as such we can certainly help ourselves. So, if you and your family are unable to find hand sanitizers on a shelf near you, simply make your own. I have been researching this process and created these slides for you as we try to keep our families safe. Please bear in mind that the use of essential oils, also considered as alternative medicine carries mixed reviews. Note, that from my research, though tea tree oil has antiviral properties that none of this has been tested on the novel coronavirus. Some also claim that essential oils have no anti-viral properties and DO NOT help with preventing viral infections. It is important that you conduct your own research and due diligence and make the choices that you are most comfortable and with and see as fit for you and your families.
